Dear Fine Arts Educators & Students:

Welcome to the 2008 Butler Showchoir Showcase! This six-day camp promises to be one of the most spectacular events of your summer. I invite you to join me and the rest of the Showcase staff at Butler Community College in El Dorado, Kansas where you will spend the week working with some of the best music educators and music theatre clinicians in the country! We have programs and performance opportunities scheduled to meet all of your needs as a student or director.

We'll combine learning, performing and idea sharing into a fun experience you will cherish into the next school year. In addition to demanding rehearsals, participants will attend a variety of special interest workshops presented by special guest clinicians and camp faculty. Then, we will end camp on Friday with a performance of our own for family and friends.

Our overall philosophy is to help develop your own talents through individual attention, positive encouragement and enthusiasm! This week will fuel your burning desire to perform.

We take pride in our outstanding camp staff, facilities, and our disciplined, yet fun, atmosphere. The Showcase staff goes out of their way to make this the best experience possible and we look forward to working with each and every one of you.
